I’m thrilled to be featured in #24 issue of Artist Closeup with my painting Sakura.

This painting of cherry blossoms, titled ‘Sakura’ (meaning a flowing cherry tree), was a turning point in my art journey. It was like everything I had been working towards, my vision, came together so beautifully in this piece. The colours, alongside the subtle sense of energy and light, spoke to me in a way words cannot…offering an essence of alchemy throughout the painting.

Sakura is still my favourite in my collection, and along with two other specially selected artworks, will soon be displayed in Colinton Arts gallery in Edinburgh.
