I was so pleased and honoured to find out my painting, ‘Sakura’, has won the Talent Prize Award in the ‘8th Color’ International Juried Art Competition by Teravarna.

As soon as I finished painting Sakura, I knew there was something special about this piece. It moves me in ways I simply cannot put into words and makes me feel like ‘I can’t believe I painted that’. Images also don’t do it justice as its spectacular and impactful in real life, full of colour, movement and joy.

Teravarna is a wonderful organisation that gives artists an international platform to showcase their works while also helping artists through sponsorships, grants and cash prizes.

It’s always an honour to know my art is appreciated.

This painting is currently being displayed at ‘The Big Art Show 2024’ in Paisley, Scotland, and is available to purchase through the exhibition which runs until the 16th November.

I also received the HONOURABLE MENTION AWARD for ‘Frangipani’s’ within the same competition.
