Symbolising love and purity, a red rose makes a statement with the addition of delicate water droplets cascading over the petals. Applying delicate brushstrokes and intricate details of reflection and transparency alongside a bold, out-of-focus backdrop, my intention was to suggest a sense of dramatic minimalism with a flower that offers deep meaning across all cultures. The gentle play of light captured within the petals creates a feeling of grace and harmony within the varying tones of luxury reds, with subtle hints of magenta and blue.
