In a field of Cosmos, remembrances of childhood and carefree, innocent moments playing ‘he loves me, he loves me not’ with the petals comes to mind. This was my inspiration behind this piece, moments of nostalgia and by-gone days. The bokeh technique used to create the soft background emphasizes the delicate cosmos, with further use of vivid greens, yellows and purples set against the play of light within the pale petals.
