Inspired to paint this dreamy scene of Glencoe, the gateway to the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Using oils, I created a foreground of wild flowers in shades of earthy pinks, purples, greens and golds. The lush wilderness captures the serenity of this untouched landscape, forming a harmony of colour that continues across the hills and mountains. The natural separation within this setting, together with the feeling of depth, brings both atmosphere and prominence to the magnificent beauty of this area.
