Inspired by the art of transient beauty, the grace of life and the traditional Japanese custom of Hanami (flower viewing).

I enjoy the versatility and richness oils offer, often blending directly on canvas, bringing awareness and momentum to each piece through a sense of depth and atmosphere, captivated by the effects of light on diaphanous subjects. Soft bokeh backgrounds set between the quiet interplay of shadows, textures and reflections allow the viewer a moment of silent contemplation and stillness in this fast moving world.

Showcasing my work in the Spring Exhibition (2025), at The Glasgow Gallery, was an absolute highlight in my art journey.
