Cherry blossoms symbolize the transient nature of life, as they bloom only for a short period each year. They often represent beauty, renewal, and the ephemeral nature of existence.

The art of transient beauty and the traditional Japanese custom of Hanami formed my inspiration for this painting. Captivated by the effects of light and the interplay of shadows on these diaphanous subjects, I incorporated a sense of energy and movement within the bokeh background - allowing the viewer a moment of silent contemplation and stillness in this fast moving world.
