Artists Inspiration & Process:
Inspired by the remote landscapes of the Isle of Uist in the Outer Hebrides, this original seascape beautifully captures the wild, untamed essence of the Scottish west coast. In the mid-ground, pale sand arches toward a distant Hebridean headland as gentle, turquoise-tinted waves break upon the shore. The dramatic sky dominates the upper horizon, filled with heavy, rolling storm clouds that perfectly mirror the rapidly shifting weather typical of the islands.
