Artists Inspiration & Process:
Brilliant hues of pink and yellow swirl across the canvas - like a spontaneous promise of love and passion! I wanted to create a piece that felt both instinctive and joyful - like when you were young and excitedly made a pinky promise with someone special. Using expressive, loose brushtrokes, I focused on both colour and gestural form to convey a sense of striking delicacy within this piece.
